Due to the success of the inaugural SEMA Online Marketing Conference, SEMA is once again dedicating an entire day to helping small businesses in the automotive industry learn how to promote themselves and profit through the Internet.  The one-day conference – featuring speakers from Google, YouTube and Facebook – takes place in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Tuesday, November 1, 2011—the day before the official opening of the four day, 2011 SEMA Show.

“Our member companies have told us that mastering the digital space is becoming more and more critical,” said Nathan Ridnouer, SEMA vice president of membership and councils. “This conference gives them the tools and confidence to get started and put them in a position to be on the fast track to success.”

SEMA Online Marketing Conference 2011, presented by ebay Motors, AutoGuide.com and Post Release, features subject matter experts on Pay-Per-Click (PPC) advertising, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), analytics and conversions, website optimization, email marketing, mobile marketing, blog and forum marketing, and social media.

In addition to the conference sessions, attendees will have the opportunity to meet with presenters and other marketing experts in one-on-one, consultative “Learning Labs.”  Presenters and consultants will help dispel common myths and focus on tools and strategies applicable to today’s quickly-changing environment.

“Digital marketing is quite fluid – changing almost by the day. Search engine rules frequently change and the customer is likely moving between a desktop or laptop computer and a cell phone or tablet to connect to content,” said Ridnouer. “This is one internet marketing conference where members will be able to learn what’s working now and gain great insight into the future.”

Qualified professionals in the automotive industry may pre-register for the conference – which includes lunch -  at www.semashow.com/omc for only $199 per person, or $249 at the door.  Employees of SEMA member companies can pre-register for just $99 or $149 at the door.

Participants in the conference earn .8 CEUs towards their Automotive Aftermarket Professional (AAP) or Master Automotive Aftermarket Professional (MAAP) credential from the University of the Aftermarket.

The SEMA Online Marketing Conference, which kicks-off Education Week, is produced by the SEMA Education Institute (SEI) in conjunction with the Street Performance Council (SPC).  SEI offers more than 60 education sessions, including tracks for business management, industry trends and forecasting, marketing, and more at the annual, trade-only SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Nevada.
